Personal Histories
Packages Available
We have three basic package levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold, that are available at varying price levels. Then, there are two optional packages that can expand the basic packages to include either a Funeral Memorial video segment and a Still Photo package. These optional packages are in addition to one of the basic packages.
Bronze DVD Package
- Pre-interview phone conversation
- One hour interview
- Up to 25 photos (supplied by you) scanned for inclusion as cutaways in the video and included as digital files on the DVD
- Professional editing of the interview
- DVD authoring and compression
- Up to five DVDs provided in base price.
Cost – $1,200, plus mileage from Lincoln. Additional DVDs at $10 per copy.
Silver DVD Package
- Pre-interview phone conversation
- Up to Three-hour interview
- Up to 50 photos (supplied by you) scanned for inclusion as cutaways in the video and included as digital files on the DVD
- Repair of tears and damage to up to 5 photos
- Professional editing of the interview
- Up to 5 Chapters on the DVD with a home menu to navigate through the interview or return to favorite stories
- DVD authoring and compression
- Up to five DVDs provided in base price.
Cost – $2,500, plus mileage. Additional DVDs at $15 per copy.
Gold Package – Blu-Ray Disc
- Pre-interview phone conversation
- Up to Three-hour interview recorded in HD video in 1080p
- Up to 100 photos (supplied by you) scanned in HD format for inclusion as cutaways in the video and included as digital files on the Blu-Ray Disc
- Repair of tears and damage to up to 10 photos
- Professional editing of the interview in HD video
- Up to 10 Chapters on the DVD with a home menu to navigate through the interview or return to favorite stories
- Blu-Ray Disc authoring and compression to preserve HD quality delivery
- Up to 10 DVDs provided in base price.
Cost – $5,500, plus mileage. Additional DVDs at $20 per copy.
Funeral Memorial Package
In addition to the oral history packages above, we can do a special edit of a 5 to 10 minute video memorial segment with still photos and appropriate music to be played at the subject's memorial service.- 5 - 10 minute special video segment
- With up to 25 photos
- Special music selected by the family
Cost – $500
Still Photo Package
We can also produce an art photo panel that includes one photograph of you "then" paired with a photograph of you "now" produced by the Ganzel Group.- Then-and-Now paired photographs
- Mounted and matted on archival, acid-free matt board, up to 30 x 40-inches
- Captions and an excerpt from the oral history interview silk-screened on the matt board
Cost – $1,000 to $2,000 depending on size of the finished piece.
