A Christmas Classroom at the Wessels
At a heritage classroom event at the Wessels Living History Farm, students learn what Christmas was like in the 1920s. Education Coordinator Dale Clark asks, "Did they have 911 in the 1920s?" Jordan (here) was anxious to answer, "No!" But Dale explains how one very long ring on a party line meant that there was trouble at a neighbor's farm and everyone would pick up.
